Omar El-Abd (Born 1983), credited as omar el abd, is an electronic musician, guitarist and sound artist based in Cairo, Egypt.
Omar’s free form compositions combine evolving textures, noise, glitch, and micro sounds. It greatly involves sound design, sampling and field recording. Guitar plays a major role in Omar’s work, with heavy post-processing and bitrate destruction.
